The expectant ewes are gradually being fed increased rations of corn and alfalfa to ensure both the mothers and their lambs receive the essential nutrients they need before delivery. In addition to corn and alfalfa, they also have access to an unlimited supply of prairie grass hay with lespedeza, essential minerals, and fresh, clean water.  Next week, we will work the mothers one final time before lambing begins.  Details to follow ...
